Dr. Gould is presently a professor at Harvard University who teaches zoology, geology, and history of science. He grew up in New York City and graduated from Antioch College. He received his Ph.d from Columbia University. Besides teaching, Dr. Gould is also the curator for Invertebrate Paleontology at the Museum of Comparitive Zoology. He often contributes articles and essays to Natural Historymagazine.
